The University Deadline Is January 16 and the College Deadly Is February 1.
You May Still Apply After These Deadlines but You Will Not Receive Equal Consideration. By Now, You Should Have Narrowed Your Selections Down and Are in the Process of Submitting Their Application. One of the Top Needs Now Are Local Volunteers to Help Run Key Elements of the Festival Including Live Music, Locally Made Food and Drink, Local Artist Market ,e! in Addition to These Elements, Each Site Has Unique Partnerships That Highlight the Arts, Programming in French, Story-telling, and More. All of the Programming Is Intended to Be Family Friendly and Approachable by a Wide Demographic While Remaining Artistically Strong. You Can Volunteer at Gage Park, Memorial Park in Waterdown, the Royal Botanical Gardens, Battlefield Park in Stoney Creek or at the Dundas Driving Park. With International Women's Day Around the Corner, It Is a Great Day to Recognize Donna Strickland, a Mcmaster Alumna Who Received Her Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Engineering Physics in 1981. She Won the Nobel Prize in Physics, the First Woman to Do So in 55 Years and One of Only Three in the History of the Award. This News Is a Wonderful Incentive for Anyone, Especially Young Women, to Have the Courage to Use Their Talents, Diligence, and Drive to Break Stereotypes and Pursue Dreams and Interests. Use This Information as You Prepare for Your Exams and Get Ready to Pick Your Courses for Next Year. Option Sheet Presentations Will Begin in February.
