Since they couldn’t host a traditional ceremony this year because of the pandemic, teachers at Cathedral High School got together to plan a special surprise for students graduating this year.
While it wasn’t the celebration they imagined, the special gesture brought some students to tears.
“I think a lot of them are sad that they don’t have this opportunity to celebrate with their friends. Hopefully this is one little way we can make them smile for a bit,” said teacher Matt Trabucco. Trabucco came up with the idea for the lawn and window signs after seeing them used by schools in the U.S.
