Stewardship of Creation
Cathedral High School is committed to environmental stewardship. The school features a working greenhouse, weekly recycling program, and a wind-turbine that contributes to the school's electrical grid. In addition, many classes and clubs engage in programming that aims to preserve the dignity of our surrounding community. Cathedral has an active Eco-Club that participates in a number of environmental initiatives. The Culture of Life group also serves to protect the dignity of all people and creation through their various activities.
Cathedral's Health Action Team (HAT) works in conjunction with Hamilton Public Health in order strengthen students' lives and well being. The HAT committee's particular areas of interest include: mental health, bullying prevention, anti-tobacco initiatives, health food choices, and promoting physical activity.
