The Cathedral Scientists of Faith Wall Murals is a collection of over 125 hand-painted murals and portraits of famous scientists who demonstrated a deep commitment to God and their religious faith, exhibiting the harmonious relationship between science and religion.
These paintings, all of which were painted by Cathedral students, depict scientists from all branches of science, many of whom were pioneers and founders of modern scientific disciplines.
The creator, designer, and project manager of this initiative was Mr. Vince Lepore, a long-serving Cathedral High School science teacher. This project involved approximately 250 Cathedral students over a seven-year period.
